Capitals at War, an in-depth, comparative photo study of Civil War capital cities Washington, D.C. and Richmond, Virginia, produced by CWPT, CCWP, and the History Channel, contrasts the two capital cities in side by side 19th century imagery. The exhibition, the only side-by-side visual comparison of the two Civil War capitol cities, consists of nineteen mounted boards with three images each. Capitals at War was first exhibited in April 2006 at Washington's Rayburn House Office Building in association with a CWPT awards ceremony. The exhibit has also already made stops in Memphis, Tenn. and Richmond, Va.
