The non-profit organization, the Center for Civil War Photography (CCWP), has announced its exhibit design and other services for historical museum and other sites. Over the past few years CCWP has created exhibits for the Civil War Life Museum, Gettysburg Visitor’s Center, Pamplin Historical Park, and the South Carolina Confederate Relic Room and Military Museum. “With the sesquicentennial coming up, we really want to get some great Civil War photography exhibits out there on display,” said CCWP Vice President Garry Adelman. “These affordable 3D shows can form the centerpiece of a sesquicentennial exhibit for a museum or historic site.”
“Most Civil War images were recorded in 3D but are seldom seen that way,” said CCWP Director of Imaging John Richter. “We want everyone to see these photographs as the photographers intended—in true 3D.”
