Union Mills and Bull Run Bridge photographs
In 1974, as an undergraduate at Georgetown University, CCWP member Robert Twining wrote a report on the Civil War photography at Union Mills and the Bull Run Bridge for a geography, employing the use of then-and-now photography a year before William A. Frassanito made the technique famous in his landmark Gettysburg: A Journey in Time. Read Twining’s report here.
